Q: You mentioned recently that you created something in New York. Can you tell me more about it?
A: (Szymon): It’s not a good time to talk about us. Currently we are focusing on a few Cities around Europe. NY will be right after first impressions
Q: Since the beginning of June the crypto market is flat, but Skey dumped in price almost 4 times (from 0,4$ till 0,12$) despite team progress and good news. Do you see this dump as coordinated price manipulation by a group of big holders and do you have a plan for price recovery and what actions will you take to prevent dumping?
A: (Marta): The market is dumping — these are the individual investors’ actions who decide to leave / sell. We are working long-term on our project and product, we are doing our best to perform well. On this market it’s difficult, but we are pretty sure that doing our work will pay for itself.
Q: When is the first implementation of the Rescue system and in which cities and countries?
A: (Szymon): We need proof of a working solution in a few big cities. It will be more than rescue without barriers. Lots of companies want to use access control for their own purpose. Right after that we will expand on new markets
Q: as recently as 2021?
A (Szymon): I mean that. Whole city including citizens and city services are using keys in everyday work.
Q: Cooperation with Orange? or Orange Poland?
A: (Szymon): In Poland, Orange has the strongest IoT team. SmarKey is implementing with global Orange solutions
Q: In the last AMA on the Encyclopedia Kryptowalut YT channel, COO Radek mentioned that you will enter tiktok to conduct campaigns there. Can you tell me more about it?
A: (Marta): We made a research on that and preparations for that part. Now we are looking at the market itself to make a decision to start. We want to be sure the budget spent goes with the positive sentiment.
Q: Where do you envision the project in a year from now/ where would u like it to be
A: (Szymon): After one year from now we’ll have at least 5 big cities implementations. We will expand to a different countries in Europe. We will get investment from big founds to reach top 20 best projects
Q: What is going on with the announced hackathon?
A: (Peter): The contest that we were planning to do is a bit more complicated than we first thought. We want to make a bigger contest that will involve our partners as well.
We also have to make everything bulletproof from a legal standpoint. Contests with huge prizes sometimes become a target for scammers :)
Q: Can we expect it this year?
A: For now we want to focus on the implementation in cities.
After everything works and people will be able to see SmartKey in action then it will be the best moment to start the contest. It will develop more organically this way. To answer shortly we will most probably wait until next year.
Q: Do you still actively cooperate with KIA on some processes or it’s not important enough at the moment?
A: (Marta): Today we are focusing on cities and access control now, the next stage is connecting mobility. Automotive companies are super important to that process . We still cooperate with car companies, as the cooperation and ecosystem changes, this partnership is also developing and will be refreshed when both parties are ready.
Q: What is the first thing we can expect from the team? new partnership, implementations or maybe something else?
A: (Szymon): You can expect. Real application for all of you to distribute and use keys. You can also expect real installations in a few big cities. You can also expect new big partnerships. Big companies are cooperating with us to make these SmartKey solutions in big cities. They are big global brands that we are working with. My personal goal is to finish implementation in big cities by the end of the year. After that will be easier to do it again in different regions
Q: How does the SKEY team increase the token’s value, liquidity and utility? So that it can lead to an increase in token prices? What is your plan to make your project stable and provide the highest return for investors in the long term?
A: (Peter): Two weeks ago we announced how the Token will be exactly used in our Ecosystem. This system will use Tokens to fuel the whole ecosystem.
The plan is for the corporations to buy technical tokens with SmartKey ERC20 tokens. This way SKEY tokens will be bought off the market and never come back there. This should have a positive impact on the price. It’s a deflation system more or less.
Q: Can you give any date with any important information or are we just waiting for Korean Bananatok in the near future ?
A: (Marta): With such big steps ahead of us we cannot give any dates, too big partners and too serious things on the table to suggest any date.
Q: How many new partnerships do you expect to be announced in the ongoing year?
A: (Szymon): We have too many partnerships at the current stage. Lots of partners must wait. We are focusing on 4 of them with biggest potential for product and expansion
Q: Who remembers the chainlink “killer”? Is it still in the plan?
A: (Szymon): We will not kill anyone but we have much bigger potential than Chainlink. We will cooperate with Chainlink as partners. Chainlink is a good project. We are focusing on different aspects of technology that’s why we see synergy on the market not competitors
Q: Understanding. I hope you will show something this year. Good luck. I have one more question: will you expand your marketing group in the future to have new people who will look at the project with fresh eyes?
A: (Szymon): We are currently hiring new people for marketing. We will have a whole new marketing plan focusing on Cities and big brands promotion.
A: (Marta): Sure, we still have new people on board, now when the market is at this stage we are improving our social media, you can see new animations, more twitter activity, soon Instagram, we boosted Linkedin. Step by step making progress.
A: (Peter): We are expanding our team. That’s true. And we are changing our approach to marketing as well. Our plan is to divide the marketing efforts into two. One will be strictly crypto marketing. The second will be marketing of SmartKey products. We want to separate those two to be able to position our sites on Google and advertise on Youtube more freely.
We are in an interesting position that not many projects are. A lot of projects don’t have products other than their token.
Q: How are you going to expand the usability of SmartKey? I mean, is it going to be as simple to implement and use that the final user doesn’t even need to know what’s inside, or the strategy is to everybody know the technology which is inside and people are looking for that in the products they use?
A: (Peter): The end-user will use the SmartKey solution automatically.
The system we want to build won’t require him to know anything about the crypto world and such. We are aiming to make everything as intuitive as possible.
As for the implementation. It will be simple for the user but it will require a lot of work on our side to make it seamless :)
And that’s what is occupying most of our team at the moment.
Q: We ask about strictly crypto marketing, not traditional for clarity.
A: (Marta): Now we are focusing on product marketing, product communication — while the market is being cleaned. Today’s crypto marketing simply does not work. Influencers, crypto promotions don’t bring any effect now. All new investors are waiting now, due to the market conditions.
Q: When do you expect the first project to roll out actively used by regular users? Or, when can we expect, approximately, your partners will start locking skeys for their business?
A: (Szymon): This year. Definitely. I hope it will be at the end of summer
Q: So what’s your focus?
A: (Szymon): I want to use SmartKey in everyday life. To do that we will help cities to implement SmartKey technology to their apps and infrastructure.
Q: How is building the Chinese community going? Is there already Chinese interest in the project?
A: (Szymon): They are very interesting but only about the product part for SmartCities I can assure you that is the top of top thanks to Orange connections.
Q: We all looking forward to you for the actual implementation of orange products
A: (Szymon): New implementation will be joint implementation with Orange.
Q: What happened with Teltonika devices shown in a film with Szymon?
A: (Peter): Those devices are used for the first implementations in cities.
Some of them went also for test purposes.

A: (Szymon): We like it too. We want to be transparent. We will be on the market years
Q: Where the French influencers you responded to the idea died
A: (Marta): Yesss, this is what we actually are doing now. We are signing deals with the biggest names in France, we will release them soon. Marketing from their side, when the market is ready :)
