March was a RECORD month for SmartKey. Here’s four reasons to get excited. 🚀
We’ve been working hard at SmartKey HQ with our biggest month to date. In March, we delivered on some of our promises to the SmartKey community, including a huge new listing and brand new partnerships and projects. As a result, $SKEY hit an all-time high of USD$0.55 and achieved its largest ever trading volume (USD$7M) in 24 hours.
Here’s a recap of the milestones our team and community hit last month.
- $SKEY listed on the world’s fifth largest crypto-exchange
On March 19, we massively grew the reach of SmartKey by launching on KuCoin ($SKEY), an exchange with over six million registered users from over 200 countries.
After listing on KuCoin, awareness and interest in SmartKey exploded. Top influencers including BitBoy, Ryan Rotolo (Crypto Fiend), Rachel Siegel (CryptoFinally), and many others publicly backed the SmartKey project on our Twitter.

2. NFTs blew up
2021 has been the year of the NFT. Creatives and artists are experimenting with NFTs’ potential to revolutionize how they make and sell their work, and in turn are driving big new audiences to blockchain and smart contract technologies.
But NFTs aren’t just for artists. The SmartKey NFT has been years in the making and is a game-changer for enabling the internet of things and the smart cities of the future. In March, we published a full outline of our SmartKey NFT in our new whitepaper and in our blog.
3. We added a new partnership: Ferrum Network
Partnering with the Ferrum Network will build a bridge between decentralized finance (DeFi) and the Blockchain of Things (BoT).
Ferrum Network is a DeFi ecosystem which creates interoperability across blockchains, allowing for near-zero-fee transactions. SmartKey will provide access to physical assets and Ferrum Network will provide users with staking mechanisms in their own business models.
